Alvarez BJJ Arlington TX 5 x’s in a row NAGA Team Champions! On September 18, 2011 Alvarez BJJ Arlington TX took about 30 kids to the Nytex Sports Complex in North Richland Hills, TX to compete in one of the biggest tournaments in the country. With over a 100 teams that came into the DFW area to compete, Team Alvarez BJJ Kids and Teens Team take 1st place and are now 5 X’s in a row NAGA Team Champions! On the first day of the tournament Saturday the 17th the teens and adults came out in full force and dominated their divisions. Just about every teen and adult Alvarez BJJ competitor either took 1st place or placed in their bracket. Some of the teen standouts of the day were Danielle Alvarez and Tristan Sanchez for winning both their GI and NO GI division taking home the Championship Belts. Some of the Adult standouts of the day were the dads in the program that came out for the first time, Lance LeVan, Samuel Robledo, Bryan Landin, and Zach Davis. On Sunday the 18th the young warriors came out to do their share of battling on the mat. Team Alvarez BJJ had about 30 kids that came out and dominated just about every divsion they entered. So many of the young warriors brought home 1st place Medals, Samurai Swords and Championship Belts. Team Alvarez even had students that had only been training 2-4 weeks and entered the Novice Divisions to get their share of 1st place awards. It was another great weekend for Team Alvarez BJJ Arlington TX   Team Alvarez BJJ Arlington TX Adult Team takes 5th place in the NO GI division and 7th place in the GI division of the tournament.  Congrats to the entire team, coaches, staff and everyone that supports this team.
