2016 IBJJF Pan American Results: Alvarez BJJ Makes Their Way to the Podium

On March 17 – 20, 2016, some of the best and toughest competitors from all over the world flew into Irvine, CA to battle it out at the 2016 IBJJF Pan Jiu Jitsu Championships. The IBJJF Pan Jiu Jitsu Championships is the second most important and one of the toughest tournaments of the year.

Team Alvarez Jiu Jitsu in Arlington TX always sends some of their top competitors to test their skills against the best out there. 2 out of their 4 competitors fought their way to the podium.

Leading the way and leading by example as always, was Professor Danny Alvarez fighting in the Black Belt Master 3 Feather Weight division taking home the Silver Medal.

Danielle Alvarez, fighting in the Brown Belt Adult Feather Weight division, also fought her way to the podium to take home the Bronze Medal.

Mr. Jordan Shepler and Daniel Alvarado both fought hard but came up short in route to the podium. They are already back on the mats trying to fix their mistakes to get ready for the next one.
